Every Man on the Planet was Watching…
I had a dream…a football game, like no other… was being televised around the world.
You see…it was women playing against a team of men.
What made this game unique was that ALL the women were bare breasted!
These were NOT beauty queens, no these were women who had endured many hardships and came out…still standing.
As I observed the women, I noticed that many had mastectomy scars…some had BOTH breasts removed.
There was not one pair of bouncy, perky breasts in the whole bunch.
The women seemed to be saying…we have been to hell and back and we are still surviving and we are not ashamed!
These women were ready to ‘bare it all’, play a man’s game and they were still standing.
To me, breasts represent the whole of womanhood…yet, more than that. They represent nurturing, nourishment, and the tenderness the world is starving for.
Men also have this ability to nurture, nourish and support. This dream is NOT just about women…it’s about this quality we all have.
I am ashamed to tell you that even in my dream I felt HORRIFIED to see all those women playing a rough game with bare breasts!
…mostly because I could imagine how hard it would be for ME to do it.
Not because I am ashamed of my body (I did breast-feed 5 children) but because I would feel so vulnerable, so exposed…and it would physically hurt because of the weight.
You see…I was not watching this game on TV, I was there. I SAW the pained yet determined expressions on the faces of these brave women…I envied their courage!
It’s important to note that the women were NOT trying to outdo the men’s team for any kind of male bashing.
They were simply showing how strong and determined they were.
This leads me to think of all the breast cancer patients and how strong and brave they are.
Most women today DO indeed have to take over the traditional role of men…simply because they have no man to support them.
This dream also represents the Divine Feminine…for years now we have needed a return to the tenderness that only SHE can provide. Divine Mother has been rejected, scorned and replaced with a purely Patriarchal God head figure.
I told you that every man on the planet was watching that game…so were many women.
The men had hoped at first just to ‘see some skin’, yet as they watched, as they saw the scars of womanhood…they were touched to the core.
Women watched as well, and although they may have felt a bit horrified as I did…they saw past the outer to the courageous inner core of these women.
Women who were NOT ashamed of all they had suffered…women who were saying…”I may have a few scars, yet I am strong. Look at me, see my strength, support me, applaud me, and awaken your own inner strength.
Awaken your own ability to nurture, nourish and kick butt…even when you have been scarred.
Even if you feel you have lost your outer beauty…nothing can take away your core!
I do believe that this dream represents a RETURN and a Recognition of the strength of women and the need to return to the strength and nourishment of the Divine Mother.
