A New take on Self-righteousness:

The Jewish person feels their way is best.

The Buddhist feels their way is best.

The Christian feels their way is best.

The agnostic feels their way is best.

The vegetarian feels their way is best.

The carnivore feels their way is best.

The new-ager feels their way is best.

So, self-righteousness stems from a deep belief that “our” way is best.

It’s all good!

Bravo for having confidence in what you feel is the best way for you.

All would be peaceful if we could refrain from pressing “our best way” onto others.

Thank you Rebecca, I love the simple wisdom of your words on
self-righteousness. and I deeply agree with you. If we could stop
from trying to make others believe what we believe and allow them their freedom to believe what they want to believe, we will be coming from a more peaceful and loving place. it took me many years to understand that there is not an absolute Truth, and that we should not give our power away to religious institutions that control our minds, don’t allow us to use blood to save our lives, they shun members and don’t let us have independent thoughts. What is worse, they hide pedophiles like the Watchtower, who controls 7 million Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Thank you again, with love Edith Howell

Yes, there are many paths to the one and it’s all good. Never did understand “holy” wars. Nothing holy about war. No one ever wins. All that’s left are those who grieve their loved ones who took up a “cause” and gave their life for it. I pray every day for the wars in the Middle East will cease. ….and peace does have to begin in our own hearts first. Blessings to all~~

WOW! that was quite powerful of a statement that read like poetry yet truth beaming through every word. Thanks for sharing this wonderful writing with us Rebecca 🙂 I have a few people in mind that I will be passing those words of wisdom to that would greatly benefit from it and written to not offend but to honor differences. Thanks again for sharing 🙂

    Elizabeth,
You took the words from my mind and put them to paper! I feel exactly the same way and have for awhile. I renewed my contract 20 years ago and I am ready… to go back to the light!

I am working on this issue of self righteousness so this comes at a good time.

Curious, how can we cut our contracts short or shorten them so we can do work on the other side?

I always feel out of place over here, and I’d like to go home if at all possible. 🙂
