When I was a little girl…I thought I was so ugly!

I remember one time in church a couple of teenagers gave me a piece of gum.

For some reason, I felt they gave me that gum so that I would go away and they wouldn’t have to look at “that ugly little girl”.

My little sister Rosie was always the pretty one! (At least that is what I always thought)

Sadly, Rosie died of Spinal meningitis just a few months after this photo of her and I was taken.
