All too often our first thought of the day is…”Why is my life so hard”? or “Why do all the hard jobs come to me?”…and sure as shootin’ the Universe answers that too (by showing you more of what it THINKS you are asking for!)

What if your very’ job description’ was to allow yourself to seek pleasure and joy in even the most ordinary things?

This is how the Ancient Priestess (And Priests) of the Divine Mother operated…wholly!

They knew that the only way to truly serve was to come from a place of self-love and joy… and that pleasure was a sure way to keep the flow constant.

I’m not suggesting that they went around masturbating all day long…they were taught to find profound pleasure in the simplest of things. The whisper of the wind against their skin, the scent of rain in the air, the taste of a newly ripened grape, the pleasure of a gentle creek, silky waters caressing the feet…

You see, they had not been “de-sensitized” to bodily sensations. When the church stepped in and made sexual ecstasy sinful and dirty, the whole of the populace became ashamed of bodily pleasure.

It still holds true today that many churches teach to “deny the flesh” that the spirit is far more important than the body.

After training in the temples (more on the types of training tomorrow) Priestesses and Priests (some men desired to serve Divine Mother also) Initiates could continue to serve in the temples or go out into community. If they fell in love and so desired…they could marry.

Mary Magdalene was a prime example of a Priestess trained in the Temple Arts of Sacred Sexuality.

It was due to her ministering to Jesus and strengthening his Ka body through sacred sex (and marriage) that helped him go through with his mission.

Remember, it was all about service through joy and pleasure…raising the vibrations of wherever they were by being an example of honoring the desires and pleasures of the body.

The Great Counterfeit:

After the Patriarchy came into power the church realized that there had been great power in the ministry of the Temples of the Divine Mother.

In an attempt to re-create this while retaining control. They came up with the concept of convents, nunneries and monasteries. This was THEIR Counterfeit idea of holiness.

Yes, women and men lived in seclusion and service but their every action was strictly controlled. Young women (and men) were sometimes pushed into this life against their will by well-meaning family members.

The pleasures of the body were strictly forbidden! In order to appear more holy, initiates took vows of chastity and poverty!

Making us ashamed of our bodies is one SURE way to control our souls!

This is Blasphemy against every principle of the Divine Feminine!

How could one expect to extend nurturing and joy if the very pleasures of the physical body were denied?

My brothers and sisters…let us return to our True Role by honoring our physical and well as our spiritual.

Let us Remember the how we once lived as Priests and Priestesses of the Divine Mother!

Let us be part of this Great Remembering that will bring balance once more to the earth.
