“Whatcha doin’ sis?”  My brothers voice came cheerily over the phone. “Oh, just getting a pedicure”, I replied.

I do have pretty feet for a 60 year old!

 
“It’s Monday, why aren’t you working…don’t tell me you make so much in one day that you can just take the rest of the week off?”

At the time…that statement was Absolutely Not True…

but I sure liked the sound of it. (Well who wouldn’t?)

So I eagerly embraced it as my truth. I quipped right back…

“Yes, Brother, you are correct, I make so much in one day…

I just take the rest of the week off.”

…And do you know what? Within one month of me childishly proclaiming it, these words spoken in jest became Absolutely True!

“Lying my way to success” has become one of my favorite ways to manifest.

It has worked for everything from finding my dream house (for dirt cheap) to getting slimmer, to finding the best hairspray.

(If the word LYING bothers you…how about “Future Truth”? Future Truth your way to success?)

By now, you must be asking, how can this work for me? I might feel weird telling all those lies.

Guess what?

You are right…as long as you do the technique from the wrong mindset, it will not work!

You will feel guilty for even thinking about lying. How can you get yourself safely in that ‘Childlike’ zone when all those ‘grownup’ voices are screaming…“Nothing ever works for me?”

Here’s the problem…

The Voice of Fear is Always the Loudest Voice!

Fear Monster!

Nothing seems to shut it up.

You try and override it with positive thoughts and it still sneaks back in and discourages the hell out of you. (or in this case…discourages the heavenly manifesting out of you!)

The Voice of Fear will tell you:

• It’s no use, what makes you think you can shut me up?

• You are just not meant to be successful.

• Why don’t you just give up?

• If there was a technique that would work for you, don’t you think you would have found it by now? Why waste more money?

• Nobody wants what you have to offer anyway.

And sometimes that Voice of Fear gets downright Nasty and Personal with horrible insults like this:

• You’re too old to be thinking anything ever will change for you.

• You’re just a failure…admit it! You have messed up this entire lifetime.

• You couldn’t handle success if it was handed to you.

• You always make a mess of your finances and your relationships too!

• …and the worst, you’re fat, ugly and you suck! (sounds harsh but my own Voice of Fear has said all this and worse to me!)

So, what’s the solution?

This technique sticks a rapier sword in the very heart of the fear… deflating it like magic and no amount of huffing and puffing can get it up again. This is so much better than trying in vain to sweep it under the rug or smother it with “positive thinking”.

(The problem with Positive Thinking is that it requires constant discipline, watching your thoughts etc. My method requires no discipline- you can save that for the chocolate cookies!)
