The number one thing that will help you get the sale when no one else can is your passion and enthusiasm for your product.
There is just no substitute for passion and enthusiasm…
I have accidentally sold more stuff because I just started spouting off about it with passion and enthusiasm than sitting down and planning some brilliant copyrighting strategy.
The sales page I made for my “End Money Worries” discovery has generated outstanding interest simply because it is the true account of my own financial freedom. I got so excited that the technique produced such exciting results that I just wrote from my heart.
I have never changed the page since I wrote it because, every time I read it, I get excited all over again…
It’s true,
It works,
It is duplicatable.
So, yes, I do have passion for my techniques and products but this is not about me- it’s about you.
If you don’t have passion for your product,
then find ways to get it or you will be
dead in the water as far as sales go.
You cannot truthfully exude enthusiasm for a product that you do not believe in.
Research your product and ask your self these important questions.
How has this product improved lives or business in the past?
How has this product helped you personally?
How will your customer’s life or business be enhanced by having or using this product?
Here, it is very important to tune into your customers “feelings”.
What kind of positive feeling will they get from using your product or service?
Take some time with this for it is the most important part of selling. The only real reason we do what we do is ultimately because of the way it makes us FEEL…
Because of your product or service will they feel more-
Secure ?
Happy ?
Validated ?
Prosperous ?
Beautiful ?
Feminine ?
Masculine ?
Relaxed ?
Confidant ?
On top of the game ?
You might want to use some probing questions to determine just what feeling they are looking for.
IE- What is one thing about (Insert whatever is appropriate your company, yourself, etc.) that you would like to see improve?
This is a non- threatening question and you can gain a lot of information from the answers.
If you don’t have any personal success stories, then do research and discover how this product or service has helped someone else.
If you still can’t come up with anything, go to your boss or source of this product and ask for reports of benefits.
If you find your product or service is lame and useless, then you will not be able to sell it using this method. I realize that companies do hire sales staff to sell lame products. (Gee, I could probably get really rich if I could develop a method to help sell products you don’t believe in.) Seriously, we can leave that to the less enlightened.
In essence, find a way to get excited about your product or service or find something you can get enthused about. Your natural sincerity and enthusiasm will attract customers like a giant magnet. Everyone likes to be around someone who is positive and passionate and knowledgeable especially if you KNOW who this product or service will help. Have you ever been waited on by a lame salesperson who acted like dead flies were falling off him?
Did you feel like buying?
Have you ever been waited on by a sale person who you knew was lying through his teeth?
Have you ever been approached by a salesperson who genuinely cared about your needs and had the solution to your problem?
Which did you buy from?
If your product or service is a solution to somebody’s problem and you are excited and passionate in your presentation, there is no way to lose. You are your client are both winners.
