Negative Energy Shields

Dear Azna,

I have a question. I would like to know how best to shield oneself from negative energies and the negative intentions of others? I am asking about actual spiritual shields, how to create them and maintain them.

Dear Vincent,

Your number one line of defense is to stop focusing on such things. If you spend a lot of time worrying that others will put evil on you- then you will surely create this yourself. What you focus on grows and expands. Use some healing works to clear your own energy field of fear and this will help a lot. Fear attracts more fear.

Now, dearest one, the opposite of fear is love- send loving thoughts out to everyone and you will be OK- Send loving thought to your self and see yourself being loved and surrounded by angels and beings of light at all times.There is no greater shield than Divine Light. See yourself surrounded by it at all times. It is good to do a cleansing exercise first.

How?

Imagine that the spark of Divine Light in your heart center grows and grows until it is a roaring furnace of Light. This Fiery Light expands from your heart Outward cleansing your entire energy field. Then call for Angels of Light, the aura weavers; to come and weave and repair any tears to your auric field. Your aura gets raggedy from time to time just from the hustle and bustle of the world. Always cleanse from within starting at your heart center.
