Television in restaurants

OK, this is a pet peeve of mine.
When I go out to eat, i don’t want to have a wide scree TV blaring the news at me.
I make it a point NOT to watch much news anyway.
I was meeting some friends at a very nice deli the other day. The only table big enough for us all was sqap-dab in front of the TV.

I married someone today…
Well, actually, I married a couple in a ceremony at my house.
Nice couple. it was put together rather quickly and I was concerned they would not have flowers.
My doorbell rang and some delivery man was there with 18 beautiful roses for me.
